A Giveaway!

Giveaway at Apron Girls sponsored by great cookware and beautiful desks!

I love these baking dishes, and to stack the deck in my favor (since I've never ever won a blog giveaway), I'm passing it along to you. How's that for irony... I selfishly want the dishes, so I'm letting you know about the giveaway... ha!

Good luck!

Irony of the funnest sort! Those are lovely baking dishes! The color!
My mom has an old yellow pyrex dish sort of like the larger of the two. I know she made many things in that dish, but I think of a banana pudding dessert she used to make when I think of the dish. On another note, she gave me a pretty glass oval dish that she used to serve applesauce in. I use it for other things, but I refer to it as the applesauce dish. (Oh boy, I feel a blog post taking shape.) What about you? Do any dishes in your life hold memories of certain foods? (Crazy, I know. All you did was post a pic of baking dishes and a contest!) Thanks for the info., but I hope YOU win!

Blog Question: Do you use a template from other than blogger? I don't see an ad and the question came up concerning ads. Just wondering. I'll check back for the answer! Thanks!

Oh! I see it at the bottom right! So did you have the choice to change that in "Layout"? Sorry to bother you! Maybe I'll figure it out!

I use thecutestblogontheblock.com "templates," which really aren't templates. They're pictures that are laid over the Blogger template. If you follow her directions, the little button linking to her page shows up at the top left of your blog. That's ok, but for some reason it bugs me a bit on my blog. So I use my limited html skills to recode it and put it in a different place. I very much want to give her credit... just in a different place. Does that seem ok?

Laurie Lynn, I don't have the dishes but there are certain ones, that when I see one similar, brings to mind certain foods served by my mother or grandmother in like kind. What sweet thoughts you provoked =}

Thanks for the template info. Laurel!
And yes, I'd say it seems okay to move the credit link! I certainly found it with no problem and it's out of the way not cluttering up your blog!

Genene-You know just what I'm talkin about!
