Over the last couple of days, I've been seeing all these news headlines on my various feeds about some big surprise on a British talent tv show. I'm not into tv; I'm not into reality shows, tv talent shows, etc. But last night when Sue told me about this amazing performance, I headed to youtube to take a look.

Ooh, ooh! It is amazing! I watched it through a link on another blog and was blown away. I admit that up until she started to sing I was expecting her to be awful. I thought it was a clip about getting out there and doing something even if you fail. What a great wake-up call for me to remember not to judge based on appearance.
I think Kolbi's preconception was pretty much universal. I was moved by susan's performance, especially after the skeptical attitude displayed by the judges, crowd and admittedly felt by myself to some extent. I also was reminded not to pre-judge based on first impressions.
